How do you help your clients make “Smart Business Decisions”?
A common mistake that consultants make is going into a situation and instantly changing something prematurely without fully understanding the client’s organization or needs. The first thing you have to do is to truly understand the client’s business and their needs. Determine what procedures and processes they are doing well. Find out their strengths, their weaknesses, and then help them recognize opportunities to turn those weaknesses into strengths. Then you can help them come to the realization of what the vision for their business is, set goals and establish steps to achieve that vision.
